Appointment Policy

At Patient Dental, we respect and value our patients' time and greatly appreciate when you honor the time and treatment room that we have reserved for you. All appointments are confirmed at the time of scheduling. Should you need to reschedule your appointment, please kindly provide us with a minimum 48 hour notice; otherwise a $50 cancellation fee may be assessed to your account (Note: All cancellation fees must be paid prior to scheduling another appointment). We understand that unforeseen events do occur and appreciate you notifying our office in such a case. However, patients that fail to appear for their appointments 3 or more times without proper notice are subject to dismissal from our practice. A broken appointment is a loss to three people --- the patient who missed the valuable time, the patient who could have taken the valuable time, and the doctor who was fully staffed and prepared for the appointment. Out of respect to the patients that arrive on time, patients that are tardy more than 10 minutes may be asked to reschedule their appointment to a different day.

Financial Arrangements

Payment for services is collected at the time of treatment.

At Patient Dental, we understand the importance of investing in your oral health. We aim to provide excellent dental care at reasonable fees. Our office accepts the following forms of payment: cash, personal checks and the follow credit cards: VISA, MASTERCARD, and Care Credit. At Patient Dental, we do not want financial limitations to prevent you from receiving the dental treatment you need. With approval, CareCredit offers many affordable, customized payment plans. Please call our office or visit the CareCredit website to learn more about the terms of their six or twelve month interest-free payment plans.

Insurance

We accept most insurance carriers and our experienced staff will work with your insurance carrier directly. We will prepare and submit forms and reports to assist you in obtaining maximum benefits available, however the dentist's treatment recommendations are not affected by the presence or absence of insurance benefits. Treatment recommendations are based on your specific dental needs and desires and are not a reflection of your dental benefits. Your dental benefits are a contract between you, your employer and the insurance company. Prior to treatment, we will provide you with an estimate of your insurance co-payment. Please do not hesitate to contact us at (916) 478.0101 if you have any questions about your statement or would like to know more about your insurance coverage prior to your appointment.
